Ydreos on Naxos Island Greece, Mikri Vigla - Windsurfing 

Mikri Vigla has a great reputation world-wide for
the windsurfing and kitesurfing conditions during the
summer season. As the years were passing by, more
and more sportsmen are visiting Mikri Vigla for dedicating their vacation to sea sports.

For the fans of extreme sports such as windsurfing,
kitesurfing etc, the northern beach (Parthena) is the
ideal bay to host their energy! The waves are not high
but smooth and strong. The direction of the wind is
almost vertical to the beach offering an easy way in
and out! The greatest privilege of the bay is the
safety because of its geographic location.

As the wind blows from the North, at the occasion that there is an injury in the water and far from the beach,
the waves will bring you safe “home”! At these moments, the little island in the west side of the “Parthena” beach stands also as a rescue board offering a safe shelter for some (let's hope rare) difficult times!
